# Strife developer documentation

Developer documentation for Strife: tutorials to connect your site, how-to guides, and the reference for the SDKs, the CLI, templates, fields and the content index.

Strife is a headless CMS: editors work in Strife Studio, and your site reads the content and renders it with your own code. These docs are for the developers who build that site. [How Strife works](https://strife.app/docs/explanation/what-is-strife.md) explains how the parts fit together.
