# fields.multiInput()

A repeatable list of same-typed primitive values (text, number, email, date, etc).

A repeatable list of same-typed primitive values. Maps to editor `{ name: 'str-multi-input', type: 'multi-input' }`. The `inputType` (default `'text'`) controls both the UI input and the output element type.

## Example

```ts
fields.multiInput({
  label: 'Email addresses',
  inputType: 'email',
  sort: true,
})
```

## Options

| `searchable`   | `boolean`                                                                                            | No       | Include in the team's search index.                        |
| `filterable`   | `boolean`                                                                                            | No       | Allow filtering content lists by this value.               |
| `protected`    | `boolean`                                                                                            | No       | Restrict editing to users with the appropriate permission. |
| `propertyName` | `string`                                                                                             | No       | Override the stored property name.                         |
| `inputType`    | `'text' \| 'number' \| 'email' \| 'url' \| 'tel' \| 'datetime-local' \| 'date' \| 'time' \| 'month'` | No       | The repeated input's type. Default `'text'`.               |
| `sort`         | `boolean`                                                                                            | No       | Auto-sort entries as they're entered.                      |

No `localizable` option.

## Output type

`number[]` when `inputType: 'number'`; `string[]` for every other input type (dates are stored as strings).
