# fields.video()

Video field. Stored shape isn't finalized yet, so the read type is unknown.

Video field. Maps to editor `{ name: 'str-video', type: 'video' }`.

> [!WARNING]
> The persisted value shape isn't strongly specified by the underlying editor component (it collects a video URL / embed, but the exact stored shape isn't finalized) — the generated read type is `unknown`. Narrow it at the call site. This may be tightened in a future minor version once the stored shape is finalized.

| `protected`    | `boolean` | No       | Restrict editing to users with the appropriate permission. |
| `propertyName` | `string`  | No       | Override the stored property name.                         |

No `localizable` option, and no video-specific options beyond the common set — this builder is a thin wrapper today.
