# Working with content

Working with content in Strife is straightforward. But let's start with getting familiar with the concept of the editor experience. In the middle of the screen, you see what we call, a canvas. Canvas is the preview of your webpage; in this case, we see one page in three different resolutions. The first one shows the desktop version, the one in the middle shows the tablet version, and the one to the right gives you a clear presentation of how your mobile version will look like. Your canvas is interactive and gives you an instant update on your content creation, and you can zoom, pan, and scroll the page.

Read more about how the canvas works in the chapter[ Canvas and Preview.](https://strife.app/docs/user-guide/canvas-and-preview.md)

To the right of your screen, you will find your editing panel. Use the editor panel to create and edit all your content that is supposed to be editable. How the editor appears depends on how the template has been designed by the project team (designers and developers). Switch to metadata view by clicking the three dots at the top right of the editor panel. Toggle back to the content view by clicking the same button again.

When you're done creating your content, push Publish in the upper right corner. This will publish your content on your website.

Strife automatically saves your changes on the fly, but if you like to delete all changes, just hit Revert to return to the late published version of the page.

In the upper left corner above the canvas, you will find a couple of functional buttons. Clicking the X- button redirects you to the last used content list. You see two arrows (up and down) to the right of the X-button. Using these arrows to scroll through the pages in the current content list.
