# Compose a document

For most of you, a document is a unique web page on your website, but for some, it might be a product in your PIM system or a customer in your CRM system built on Strife. You can use Strife for multiple purposes, but in this documentation, we will only focus on composing content/pages for your website or a repeatable Chapter that can be reused multiple times on your website.
