# Edit pictures

There are multiple ways to edit a picture on a page in Strife. Strife uniquely controls how a picture will be displayed in different resolutions (for example, desktop, tablet, and mobile). Choose Desktop to edit the picture that will appear in the desktop view.

**Zoom** in and out of the picture by click-drag the zoom-slider at the bottom of the image component.

**Pan** the picture by click-drag the picture or click-dragging in the miniature in the upper left corner.

Note! In some cases, you might not have the possibility to change between different displays of a picture. The reason for this is that a developer must create a template that supports this feature. Otherwise, this will not work as intended.
