# Working with video

Strife supports one way to use video on a page: adding video in the [Rich Text Editor](https://strife.app/docs/user-guide/working-with-content/rich-text-editor.md). Strife will soon support adding video through a video component, but until this component is launched, you need to use Rich Text Editor.

Using the video component will offer a number of positive advantages.

1. Videos are delivered through the Strife CDN, which will improve performance.
2. Strife video service supports streaming
3. The videos are transcoded into multiple resolutions
4. Automatically replicate your files all around the world to optimize performance from different locations
5. Customize the video player to match the overall design
