Joining Strife: Inside a Hiring Process That Actually Works
We had a quick chat with Adam after his very first weeks at Strife, and it already feels like he’s part of the family. He shared how the start has been, what made the hiring process stand out, and why Strife felt right from day one. Here’s Adam, in his own words:
Why Strife Felt Right From Day One
Hi there!
Adam here — and this is my very first post on the Strife blog. I recently joined the team, something I'm both proud of and genuinely excited about. In this post, I'd like to share a bit about my journey to becoming part of Strife and why I already feel this is the right place for me.
Why Strife?
When I first came across Strife's job posting, it immediately felt like a unique opportunity. A smaller company, a unique and interesting tech stack, and most importantly, a product of its own — exactly what I was looking for. I applied right away, and I'm very glad I did.
The Hiring Process
It soon became clear that it wasn't just the role that was special, but also Strife's hiring process. After my initial interview, I was invited to do a paid work-trial on-site. This setup turned out to be valuable not only for Strife, who got the chance to see how I approach real problems and collaborate, but equally for me. I got to experience the team dynamic, learn how it feels to work in their environment, and contribute to a real project — much more meaningful than the standard hypothetical coding test that often benefits no one. A true win-win!
Looking Ahead
Now, after my first few weeks as a full-time employee, I can honestly say the experience just keeps getting better. Thanks to clear processes, a well-structured development cycle, and supportive colleagues, I was able to get up to speed quickly. What excites me most, however, is the opportunity to contribute to Strife CMS — a product with a lot of potential and one that I'm eager to help shape and improve. I'm looking forward to developing my own skills while consulting customers and also playing a part in the continued evolution of the platform.
