The Discipline Behind Genuine Quality
Everyone claims to value quality. Few actually deliver it. “Quality” is a word stamped on pitch decks and websites, but too often, it doesn’t survive the journey from aspiration to execution.
Why? Because quality is demanding. It is inconvenient. It means raising the bar when nobody is watching. It’s a thousand small, unglamorous decisions made for the sake of something better. That’s why, when real quality shows up, you notice.
We saw this firsthand with our client, Svenska Golfförbundet. Their relaunch of Golf.se, moving from Optimizely to Strife CMS, was never just a technical migration. From day one, they set the bar high: faster, clearer, genuinely better—for visitors and editors alike. The results are clear. Where they once ranked 52 out of 76 in their category, they now lead. Even more impressively, they climbed into the top 50 of all sites tested on Webperf.se—a jump noticed by Marcus Österberg at Webperf.se, who wrote:
“En annan nylansering är Svenska Golfförbundet som i maj leder sin kategori, mot tidigare då de låg på plats 52 av 76. Golf.se har bytt från Optimizely till Strife CMS – ett svenskt publiceringsverktyg. Målet med bytet ska ha varit att göra webbplatsen snabbare och tydligare för besökaren. För redaktörerna innebär det en bättre redaktörsupplevelse.”
What sets our team apart? We treat quality as our guiding principle. Small teams, no handoffs, and a stubborn refusal to compromise on the craft. We don’t just talk about quality—we work for it, every day. We run work trials, because nothing reveals skill and fit like doing the real thing together. We don’t do MVPs, and we don’t believe you can build something great by chasing only what the metrics say. We trust our sense of what feels right and listen closely to users—insight comes from conversations, not just dashboards.
I believe in this approach, deeply. You don’t have to choose between craft and progress, or quality and speed—if you’re disciplined. This is the only way I know to build a product and a company worth being proud of. The results speak for themselves.
