Work with several pages at once
Select several pages in the content list and publish, archive, discard, restore, delete or translate them in one go.
Select pages
In the content list:
- Click a page to select it.
- Shift-click another page to select it and every page in between.
- Hold Shift and use the arrow keys to extend the selection.
- Press Command+A (Mac) or Ctrl+A (Windows) to select every page in the list.
- Press Esc to clear the selection.
Act on the selection
With more than one page selected, open the command menu (Command+K, or Ctrl+K on Windows). It offers the commands that fit the pages you selected:
| Command | Offered when the selected pages | What it does |
|---|---|---|
Publish selected documents | include no published or archived page | Publishes them. |
Archive selected documents | include no draft and no archived page | Archives them. Archived pages can be restored later. |
Discard selected documents | are all drafts that have never been published | Discards them, which removes the pages. |
Discard changes on selected documents | include at least one page with unpublished changes | Reverts the changes to the last published version. |
Restore selected documents | are all archived | Restores them, so they can be edited and published again. |
Delete selected documents | are all archived | Deletes them permanently. This cannot be undone. |
Each command asks you to confirm first and says how many pages it applies to, for example "Publish 3 documents?".
On a team with more than one language, the publish and discard commands end in "…" and ask which languages: All locales, or one language.
Translate several pages
On a team with more than one language and the AI integration turned on, Translate selected documents... (Translate document... with one page selected) translates the pages into All locales or the language you choose.
