Working with pictures

The best and most common way to work with pictures is by using the picture component in Strife. Using the picture component gives you complete control of how pictures appear on a page in all different resolutions. You can even change which part of the picture you wish to highlight in the various resolutions. Change between different resolutions by clicking on the grey areas above the image and finetuning the look and feel for each resolution. Pan the picture by clicking and dragging the viewport. You can zoom in and out by moving the slider in the lower right corner of the image left and right.

Switching pictures is done by selecting a new image from the media library at the bottom of the picture. Tab through the different images using keyboard arrows or just by click-select using your mouse.

A brand-new picture is uploaded by, clicking the upload symbol in the picture component. You may also use the paste function to import external images. The copy/paste process works well if you find a free picture on the Internet.

The paste function works well if you find a free picture on the Internet that you wish to use on your website. Copy the image in the browser, toggle to Strife, and hit the paste function.

Note! Every picture you paste to a picture component will be stored in the media library.

If you wish to delete a picture, just hit the garbage can.

Note! Deleting a picture will only delete the image on the active page. It will not delete it from your media library.
