Activity

The activity log gives you a clear overview of all changes and actions on a page — perfect for collaboration and content analysis.

Viewing and Using the Activity Log

The activity log helps you track everything that happens on a page — from internal edits to external interactions like visitor reactions. It’s a powerful tool for collaboration, follow-up, and understanding how your content evolves over time.

How to access the activity log

  1. Open any page or document in Strife

Navigate to the page you want to inspect.

  2. Open the sub menu

Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the toolbar

  3. Select "Activity" from the menu
A dropdown menu will appear. Click Activity to open the activity log.

  4. Review recent activity
You’ll now see a timeline of all actions taken on the page, such as:

  • Content edits
  • Draft saves and publishing events
  • Comments and mentions from other editors
  • Tasks assigned via mentions
  1. Track external events
The activity log also includes external interactions, such as:
  • Visitor reactions to the content
  • Comments left by users on the page
Note:

Expand an edit entry (for example “2 changes”) to see exactly which fields were changed, listed by their field names from the template. A change inside a chapter shows the chapter’s name followed by the field — for example “Intro → Text”. Hover over the list to see the technical field paths.

Note:

If you subscribe to a page, you'll receive a notification in your Strife inbox whenever there’s activity related to that page — keeping you updated without having to check manually.
